What is Office144?+
Office144 is a guided creation and publishing workspace for turning ideas, manuscripts, and structured content into polished digital and print-ready projects — bringing books, manuals, workbooks, cards, and other professional document workflows into one platform.
What can I create with Office144?+
Books, eBooks, manuals, workbooks, ministry resources, educational materials, and business or promotional cards — as those tools are available in your workspace. The platform is designed to grow around more creation modules over time.
Is Office144 only for books?+
No. Book creation is one major part of the platform, but Office144 is a broader document and publishing workspace for authors, ministries, educators, businesses, and creators.
What file types can I upload?+
For editable manuscript workflows, Office144 supports DOCX, TXT, Markdown (MD), and RTF files. PDF is supported as an export format rather than a new editable manuscript upload.
Can I create without using AI?+
Yes. AI is optional — you can upload your own work, write and edit manually, use templates, and format projects without any AI features. AI tools use credits only when you choose to run them.
How do AI credits work?+
Credits are used only when you request a supported AI action, such as drafting or cover-concept generation. A subscription unlocks software access and plan limits; credits cover AI usage. Your balance and purchase options appear in your account and billing area.
Can I make children's books?+
Yes. The book workspace includes guided paths for children's books, bedtime stories, Bible-story books, and picture-book–style projects.
Does Office144 publish directly to Amazon KDP?+
No. Office144 helps prepare your files and listing details. You still upload and publish through marketplaces such as Amazon KDP, Draft2Digital, IngramSpark, or other platforms.
Can I cancel my subscription?+
Yes. Subscriptions are managed securely through Stripe. Cancellation keeps access active until the end of the paid billing period when applicable.
Do you store my card details?+
No. Payments and card management are handled securely by Stripe. Office144 does not store full card numbers.
Is Office144 SOC 2 compliant?+
We are not currently SOC 2 certified. We still follow practical security measures such as trusted payment processing through Stripe, authentication through Clerk, and careful handling of user content. Enterprise security documentation can be added as the product matures.
Is Office144 HIPAA compliant?+
No. Office144 is not designed for protected health information or medical records. Do not upload HIPAA-regulated health information.
Is my manuscript private?+
Your project content is intended to remain private to your account. Avoid uploading sensitive personal, medical, legal, or confidential third-party material unless you have the right to use it.
Can I request help before paying?+
Yes. Use the help widget or support form and we will reply by email, usually within 24 hours.
Can I get a refund?+
Refund requests can be reviewed through support. Include the email used at checkout, your order details, and what went wrong.
